Top 10 HOA Reminders for a Beautiful Season

Cooler weather is finally on the way! With the drop in temperature, now is the perfect time to fresh your landscaping-pull weeds, replace mulch, and plant new trees or flowers.

Unfortunately, our community has seen a total of 462 violations year to date, which is a significant number considering we only have 215 homes. To help everyone stay in compliance and keep our neighborhood looking beautiful. Please review the top 10 most common violations.

1. Landscape Maintenance- flower beds and tree wells must be free of weeds. Grass free of weeds. NO artificial or fake flowers are allowed in areas visible from the street. Dead vegetation must be replaced, and mulch should be replaced twice a year.
2. Landscape- any flower bed borders must be approved by the ACC. All brick/stone borders must match the current homes’ brick and be installed by a professional mason with brick mortar. Radom stacked brick is not allowed.
3. Exterior Projects- ANY exterior project requires ACC approval.
4. Parking- Trailers, work trucks, equipment, boats, Rv’s and inoperable vehicles are not permitted in driveways or on the street. Vehicle repairs must take place inside the garage.
5. Basketball Goals- Portable or mounted goals are not permitted in front of the home.
6. Solar lights- All lighting requires ACC approval. Landscape solar lights are not permitted.
7. Yard Decorations- All exterior décor (sculptures, fountains, multiple flowerpots or any yard art needs ACC approval.
8. Garden Hose- Hoses must be stored out of sight when not in use.
9. Front Porch Finishes- painting or tiling the porch requires ACC approval.
10. Trash Cans- trash bins must be stored out of view. Any screening structure must be approved by the ACC.

Please remember that unapproved improvements can result in fines and may require removal at the owner’s expense.
